TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, the purchase of products, and the supply of wines by Bevala Ltd. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.​

2. Age Restriction

  • It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under 18 years old in the UK.

  • By purchasing from us (online or trade), you confirm you are at least 18 years of age.

  • We reserve the right to request proof of age and refuse delivery if this cannot be provided.

 

3. Orders & Contract

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • A contract is formed only once we confirm your order by email.

  • Trade customers may be required to complete a credit or account application before supply.

 

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are listed in GBP and include/exclude VAT as specified.

  • Online retail orders must be paid in full at checkout.

  • Trade accounts may be offered credit terms subject to approval. Payment must be made within the agreed period.

  • We reserve the right to adjust prices in line with duty, VAT, or supplier changes.

5. Delivery

  • Online retail orders: We aim to deliver within 2–5 working days. Delivery costs will be shown at checkout.

  • Trade orders: Standard delivery within London is typically next-day (subject to stock availability).

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.

  • Failed deliveries caused by incorrect address details or lack of proof of age may incur additional charges.

6. Returns & Refunds

  • If goods arrive damaged or faulty, please notify us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

  • Unwanted goods may be returned within 14 days if unopened and in saleable condition (retail customers only).

  • Trade returns are subject to prior agreement and may incur a restocking fee.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

7. Trade Customers (On-Trade & Wholesale)

  • All wines are sold subject to availability.

  • Consignment or sale-or-return terms may be agreed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Late payments may result in suspension of supply and statutory interest charges under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.

  • Title to goods remains with Bevala Ltd. until paid for in full.

 

8. Website Use

  • Content on our website is for information purposes only.

  • We take care to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that product descriptions, pricing, or availability are error-free.

9. Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
